Chlorine from swimming pools and sea salt can damage textile fibers. After each use, rinse your swim shorts thoroughly in fresh water, even if you don't intend to wash them right away. This simple gesture prevents the build-up of chemical residues.

Machine wash: yes, but with care.

Recycled polyester is a tough fabric, but it deserves a gentle wash:

• Maximum temperature: 30°C
• Cycle: gentle or delicate
• Use a detergent without bleaching agents or softeners (they can alter UV protection)
• Avoid tumble-drying: prefer air-drying in the shade, to avoid weakening fibers and colors

Tip: turn shorts inside out before washing to limit direct rubbing on the print or color.

Drying: the right move to avoid wear and tear.

After rinsing or washing, don't wring out your swim shorts too hard. Simply let them drain, then hang them up in the shade.
Avoid direct exposure to the sun while drying: even if your shorts have built-in UV protection, this concerns your skin, not the fabric. The sun can discolor textiles over time.
