Simple and effective hand cleaning.
Use a clean cloth or soft sponge slightly dampened with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe along the entire length of the strap, paying particular attention to areas with marks or dirt. There is no need to rub too hard: gentle cleaning will preserve the appearance and condition of the fabric.
Pay attention to buckles and finishes.
The metal buckles and reinforced ends of the belt require special care. Clean them with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe immediately with a dry cloth to prevent water marks or oxidation. Make sure no moisture is left in the gaps of the buckle. If necessary, a small cotton swab can help clean hard-to-reach areas.
Natural drying and careful storage.
After cleaning, allow your belt to air dry, either flat or hung up, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not place it near a radiator or hair dryer: excessive heat can weaken the fabric fibers and finishings. Once dry, roll it up loosely or hang it up to prevent deformation.
